Accountability is key when it comes to goal setting. Think of a time you wanted to lose weight and get in shape. Wasn’t it easier doing it with a friend or someone you knew who wanted the same thing? It’s funny how we won’t risk disappointing someone else when it comes to setting and achieving goals. But not surprising. We are, by nature, meant to help each other.
If you have a weight loss goal or want to start eating better, find a friend to do it with you. Set up a regular time and way to connect (email, phone, Facebook messaging) to discuss progress and challenges.
I recommend starting with your diet first. That way you’ll have the energy to follow through with a fitness routine. And if you’re really ambitious, set goals for both!
Can’t think of anyone you’d like to partner up with? Let me know how I can help. I offer free clean eating groups that start the first Monday of every month. Check out my Events page for details.
Summer is coming – what are you waiting for??
