P90X 1 Week Completed!

I did it! Week 1 of P90X completed. Already feeling stronger. And I’m loving the muscle tone in my arms and legs. Amazing how after just one week I noticed a difference.As I’m sure you can imagine, it wasn’t the easiest thing to get through. Mostly because I felt frustrated when I couldn’t keep up. And I can’t believe I’m going to admit this publicly, but after two of the workouts I actually cried. Not because it was hard, but because I knew I was responsible for putting myself in this place. Ever feel like that?I reminded myself the same thing I always tell my health coaching clients ~ it’s like riding a bike. We all fall off and scrape a knee or two when we first start out. But that doesn’t stop us from climbing back on the seat and trying again. We don’t fall off, hurt ourselves and say, “That’s it, I’m done with this. I don’t need to ride a bike.” We can’t wait to get back on and try again. It’s a little sad to think that we’ve lost that childlike trust in our own ability to accomplish what we set out to do.

So that’s my story this week. I also thought I’d share a short?video?of a man who tried this program. His journey inspires me to push PLAY every day : )
