Day 12 ? Keep Momentum Going
As we come into the home stretch of our 15-day journey, it’s important to start thinking about next steps. Where do you go from here?
Leaving it up to chance is a recipe for failure. According to Darren Hardy, author of the Compound Effect and publisher of SUCCESS magazine, “success is possible by performing a series of small and smart steps.”
He likens himself to the tortoise, who always wins the race. Even though he?s slower, he?s consistent. And in a world that moves at a rapid pace, I think this message is an important one. This man has created a life most people only dream about by taking small, consistent steps. He knows what he’s talking about.
Rather than look for quick fixes or magic bullets, pay more attention to being consistent with small things. It?s the consistency of applying positive habits that leads to success. Or as I’m fond of saying, Practice Makes Permanent.
Commit TODAY to reviewing what you’ve learned so far and picking one or two things to focus on – maybe it’s increasing your water intake or a healthy snack between main meals to keep your blood sugar stabilized. Do it today. Not when it’s over. Not when the time is right. Your time is now!
