Healthy Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  • Base:
  • 5-6 medium apples peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 to 6 tablespoons raw honey
  • Topping:
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1?2 cup oats
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1?2 cup crushed walnuts
  • 6 tablespoons raw honey
Instructions
  1. Combine apples, honey and cinnamon in a large bowl and mix well. Place in a baking dish.
  2. Melt coconut oil on medium low heat, add oats and stir until gently heated. Add remaining ingredients to oat mixture. Mix well and place over apples. Cook until topping is crunchy 350? F for 30 minutes.
Notes

You can also make a RAW version by grating the apples, pre-soaking the oats and nuts, and then combine with ingredients above.
